Honestly, anymore I'm not all that impressed with the w7's for how much they cost.

rockford 400.4 for the rear and the jl right now.. since the guy said the subs dont need that much power to thump.. since im running all stock electric right now.. but i dont have everything now

Yea do not get the JL if you want loudness, JL and SPL aren't aloud in the same sentance

Was that with a single 13 W7? And what was the box tuned to and what amp did you use? the Raa1000? Thanks. Just wondering.

yes sir, the box was 4.5 ported to 42 i believe, i still have the box i could look if you want exact figures

148.9 on a TL is not loud??

I do agree JL can be loud, and their SQ is amazing. But I just don't find them as impressive for the cost (w7 that is). Maybe I haven't messed around with enough high end subs, but did have 3 w7's, but ended up selling all my old setup.

yea i can post pics of the current one, the box is different tho.

Car is a 2000 acura integra btw, they get loud pretty easy

I could make a vid of the current set up still pretty loud but box its currently in is 2.8 tuned to 32

But yes jl is expensive, but the w7 is my favorite sub ive owned so far, however i think im about to sell it for an idmax. anyone with a dual 2 idmax wanna trade?

L7's are crazy on bass, so are the w7's. For me spl is l7, and you can get good SQ out of them in a nice sealed box. Now to me w7's are way to expensive, but they are better on sq rather in ported or sealed and they do get up on bass. Its up to you, and your perfence. You cant lose with either one, but I say kicker in a sealed box since your looking for some sq.
