My guess is your lpf is turned up too high and ur gain/bass boast is up too high. and ur box is prolly trash if you didnt build it yourself... most places through subs in prefab boxes that arent made for your application.

the guy at the store told me it was like one of those octagon type screws and plus its all black so its hard to see what would fit.
