both those subs arent that great. i would just get some audiobahn, or dual subs. i heard they hit pretty hard if you tune your box right. most people will reccomend a 50hz or so tuning for daily.

naw...these subs are top of the line...dual is bestbuy brand...forget that...I have had these JL's since 2000 they have not done me wrong and able to hit 145's all day long...can dual's hit 145's tuned to 50hz..i doubt they get 110's outta them....thanks

i got a 151db outta my 2 dual 15's @ 42hz in the wall of my explorer. pretty good score if you ask me. certified and everything

If you want to step up and past the w6 in sq and spl then look into the SX line from RE. I sell RE JL Kicker and a bunch of other name brands and found the SX stomped over the W6. The SX is rated for 1000rms and I have a PPI 1500.1 mono block running to it at about 1500rms per sub and it takes it all day. I myself went from 4 Digital Designs 9515s with 4 Z1 amps to 3 RE XXX 18s with 3 Z1 amps and am a hair louder and a hell deeper. I can hold around 153-154 with music and can bust up a over the 160db in the same box. No port blocking or anything. Just have to double power and then a some for a short burst. Also have to make sure batteries are full and all alt. are kicked on. I use 3 alt and 10 Kinetik HC2400s in the back. If you want to do re hit me up to work out a deal or let me know if I can help you with some other brand.... RE tends to give you a bigger bang for the buck since there is no middle man when a shop buys them and has less mark up like big name brands. Big name brands have to mark up items before the shop gets it to make up the price of advertizing.
What type of sound are you looking for? you want super clean or super loud or some spot in the middle? What car you have and where do you want the subs installed. Sometime it is better to use lower line good stuff and stuff more in there then a few high end.
