Just wanting to know if anyone here has hit anywhere near 150 db with JL subs? I know they are a SQ sub, but was wondering about their SPL capabilities. Going to go ported 2.25 cubes each tuned around 33hz with my 3 JL12W3v2 dual 6's. Will be running them with PG Xenon 1200.1 when it gets flip flopped. Just don't know how much more I can get from them in a enclosed trunk. Installer didn't have a meter, but swore they hit mid 140's in sealed enclosure.

They may have hit mid 140s but the difference between 140s and 150 is pretty big. I don't see it happening with W3s. W7s might have a shot, maybe.

other than that, i wouldnt look JL's way if ya lookin for spl.
