JL Slash to ARC KAR...

Thanks to some worthless pieces of ***** my amp and headunit was removed from my truck. I have to thank the turds for not cutting any of my wires.. wow.. nice criminals! So I ended up with a new KS1000.1BX at a great price. I have to say hands down the ARC has a cleaner sound and tighter bass response. I honestly thought I would want my JL back but after being advised from a few shops I talked to (who offer both brands) I gave the ARC a try. No doubt its every bit as strong if not stronger. I went a head and picked up a KS 300.4 to replace my 450/4 V2. I know it wont be as strong but if sounds cleaner I will be fine with that. Just thought I would share my experience. Arc has won me over.

i had two arc audio ks1000 and a 300.4 . all i can say is quality built in everything they make.

I know.. I know.. but the JL amp was always a solid unit that never gave me any problems. I will be glad to be running all ARC since I will get some working space back around my amplifiers. The JL was so huge in comparison. Think I will sell my 450/4 for like 200$ or somethign to get rid of it. It has a stripped out lug on one of hte speaker outputs. Other than that it looks great.

id actually prefer the arc. jl only has the regulated power supply as an advantage. mayba a little more power but it prolly wont make much difference

That 450 will sell quick for that.

I listed my 300/4 on CL for $150 a while back and though its been sold I get calls pretty much everyday for it
