JL prices

my friend that owns a local shop was telling me yesterday that JL has said sell all inventory because july or august prices are being raised 24% or something like that.

just wondering if anyone else has heard anything about this....

JLs prices are already horrible, why would they raise them? havent heard anything but i dont think it would help them at all.

thats what i was thinking. ive never used JL because of prices. although i decided to try the new subs out so i bought 2 of them. lucky my friend gave me a pretty good deal on them.

arent they in the process of re-vamping several of their products? i know that many of their lines have already been discontinued.

yea i think the new slim lines probably cost a ton to design now they are recouping some $ in sales

They can revamp but dont let it hurt the prices. Rainbow just revamped some of their stuff and discontinued some things but it didnt damage their prices. if it did it was only like 20 bucks here or there.

that wouldnt be to bad but if it reallt is 20% + then WOW

up untill i heard one of the new subs i NEVER thought about using JL. the price i paid isnt horrible but compared to most brands i could have 4 or 6 subs.

iv used some of the old school w6's and 'w3's.... i still own/use my set or w3v2's i got awhile back.

their higher end subs (w6 and up) might be worth it, but not sure about the rest of their line up.

exactly. I would love to own jl equipment, but they ish cost an arm and a leg. I mean you get what you pay for, you know. But its always the same quality but with a cheaper price. they should lower it, or make a consumer friendly line, but dont skip on the rms.
