ok so jl charges alot for their products. but my question is if their prices were more competitive, would u buy their equipment over the competitors?

when people pay the prices they do for zapco, mcintosh, tru, etc., why does jl's price shock so many? their proven technological advances show that they're obviously putting some money into R&D...i think i'll pay a little extra for good ****

If they were cheaper, I probably would.

I have never owned a JL product, so I don't have personal experience with the quality... but they sure do a lot of R&D and hold pages of patents.

If Kicker products are made in the US then thats a fair comparison. Cant compare made in china prices to made in us prices.
