Jl or autotek amp

hello, will i was wonder see if you guys can help me out. i wanna buy a new amp. the amp i wanna buy is JL 500/1 amp or am i better off with my autotek 2000.1?

JL amp is the better of the two unless its a super old school Autotek. If its a Autotek super sport its worthless.

Now, LilJT, here's the deal. The JL is better, but don't get it. You can get similar quality from an amp for MUCH less. JL is good, but not for the money.

So what is your budget on an amp? And what size wiring are you running? Your wiring is more important than the amp.

For $150 you can get an under rated Zed audio Minilith. Id use that over a JL any day of the week.

Alright. 6ga will be fine for around 500 watts RMS, but plan on upgrading wire later if you end up getting a higher powered amp.

Id still use the Minilith I posted above over the JL.
