JL or Alpine

Looking to get a 4 channel amplifier to run my component. Wanting to know would you guys get a JL Audio HD 600/4 or Alpine PDX F6 or Alpine X-A70F. The new A70F might be too expensive since its still pretty new. The PDX amps are getting discontinued so I have someone I know that can get me a deal on them. And the JL HD not much of a discount from retail. Both the JL and PDX amps have the same technologoy as they will do 4 ohms 150 watts x 4 chan. 2 ohms: 150 watts x 4 chan. They only advantage I see in the JL HD is that it has the regulated power so between 12.5v-14.4v it will do the power rating. The PDX does not and will drop on power a bit. How much of a role does it play and is it worth geting the JL HD amp?

Both are good. I use an alpine pdr-f50 for my highs. Plenty of power with 85w per tweeter and 125w per mid

Jl has the newest amp line out now and that would be where I look instead of the HD line

I'd look at the JL Audio RD400.4 or the XD400/4 amps. The main difference is the RD amps are unregulated. Lots of good reviews of them out there as well. .

Both amps are great amps..as stated.Either will be a great choice.Its all about what you are willing to pay to be honest of these two of chosen.
