My friend is getting two 12" JL W3v2 powered by a JL 500/1. What is really amazing is that he is getting this and a box (sealed) and wiring and installed for only $600. Now what I need is a setup that will completely blow his away. I am about 30sq/ 70spl. I need a sub (one 15), an amp, and a box for around $500. Not only do I want to spank his system, but I want to spank him in the price. Any suggestions.

Whats with you people, gotta beat your friends. IMO your system should be for you, what you want....you shouldnt get a system to beat somebody just to say yours is better

i do want a system for me, i just want it to be able to sound better than his as a plus. i just want a system that is going to hit as hard if not harder than his. making my system sound better than his is just a plus because he talks so much shit about it.

i dont have the room to properly fit 2 12's which is why im thinking of switching otherwise id run both.
