hey yea i thought you're on the org too right? what are you runnin slick? with the seat down (which yea makes it more comparable to an suv) i have more than enough spl (to do damage to my ears) but i wouldnt mind have a little more and a lot more sq. i spent like 30 min today before it started raining trying to pinpoint where in my trunk it rattles, dang it just rattles everywhere. i'm gonna have to rip off that rear deck and stuff some stuff in there. for me though as it is with no deadening, with the seat up sounds better.

2 shivas. i suggest going with a circular sub my man. the l series kicker is not knowsn for sq. btw i did the rear deck foam fix and i still get rattling. i put edead v3 all over my trunk and i still have rattles. its a never ending battle. the rear bumper sounds like a tin can (i dont know of a way to fix this yet).

what kinda boxes do shivas take, and how are they compared to re se's

they love large boxes sealed or ported. im guessing they have at least the same sq if not beter than se's but a hair less output im guessing. i have not heard an se personally but its what i gather on the net.

shivas are definately comparable to the re se's. I personally would take the shivas over the re's because I love adire. I would throw the two shivas in as large of a box you can fit and make sure you port it and get it tuned correctly. They will sound incredibly with lots of SQ and decent SPL.

Take the songs he played in his blazer and play them in your car. Then see if you like the sound. That way you know whether it was the music or the subs that you liked more. Even if you're not into rap, play it just to see how it sounds on your system compared to his.
