Yes. I have been running one for a while, and will be putting a second one in this weekend.

I upgraded from 500/1s. I use one amp for each 15" Type R.

I also have two of the 600/4 amps.

I am extremely pleased with the HD amps.

Im getting 2 w3's 1000 watts rms and the jl dude said to go with the HD750/1.

Uh, did you check your math there? 750 is only 25% less than 1000 (i.e. 1-(750/1000). Then again, I guess I should check my math since (750 x 33.33333333333%) + 750 = 1000:laugh:

Regardless, it takes double the power to get 3 decibels of output increase in a PERFECT world. By the time you factor in impedance rise, electrical load, and all that other fun stuff, the difference between 750 watts and 1000 watts will be VERY hard to pick out with the human ear! This is even more true on today's highly inefficient subwoofers!

In fact, I would be willing to bet that in a double blind test, if one could swap between the JL 750 and the JL 1000 on the fly, you would never be able to pick out which amp you are listening to just by hearing the subwoofers play! You may get it right with a lucky guess every now and again, since you have a 50/50 shot at it, but other than that, you probably would never know the difference!

It will be more than enough. Those subs are gonna MOVE.

I had a 1000/1, it was an awesome amp, and has more features than the HD.
