Anyone have any experience with these bad boys? About to be upgrading to them. Only paying 100 bucks which is less then what i paid for my C2s!

I heard the c5s, didn't sound ALOT different, (I had the c2s as well) but still worth it for sure

I agree, I've never had c5's but I've heard quite a bit of them around here, heard good ones bad ones DECENT ones, again my little thing about speakers is all about the install...

Ill be pushing 100 rms to each one... i believe thats the recommended power. Using the HD900/5 amp whenever it ships back to me.

ive had both....c5s are a world of difference ...jl recommends 25-150rms and I gave them the 150 and they took it all day

good to know.... i may wait to install them till my amp gets back then bc my headunti only pushs 20 rms per speaker i believe.... i hear underpowering speakers can be bad

Nothing wrong with underpowering. What do you think happens when you don't have the volume up? You are under powering them.

I have both the c5 and the zr and I enjoy them both and getting the correct install is always key. And I'm pushing them with 150 watts and they sound great and clear with no distortion, perfect match to the 13w7 some of the clearest speakers I've heard but everyone has their own opinion. ya they are pricy if you get them with a warranty (which i am) only reason im getting them for the price im paying is bc my buddy just got a new jeep and they will no longer fit for him so he threw me a good deal. ill be running those in my front with the C2 69s in the back and W6 in the trunk
