JL Audio Amps?

I have a Rockford Fosgate 12inch T1 sub that powers 800 watts RMS and there I have been running a Planet Audio amp and been looking to upgrade because it's underpowered. There is a deal on Amazon for a JL Audio 1000/1 XD series amp for 250$? Is this a good deal? Thanks.

if it is the xd series that is cheap as hell. Are you sure it isn't the jx? still a solid amp but more in line with that price.
