I have an honest question...

I'm looking to sell the following:

3 10" W3 JL subs housed in a sealed enclusure, JL 1000/1 series amp, and Focal Access 130 A1 components all as a package deal. I'm not entirely sure how I plan on selling these just yet, though my question is -- would $1100.00 be a reasonable price for somewhere like Ebay? Or, would such a price be to high/low? And, if so -- what would you all suggest instead?

BTW... Everything was originally purchased new roughly 1.5 yrs. ago, and since then has been kept in perfect condition.

Sorry, I'm just extremely new w/ what's involved when selling purchased goods -- so any advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The A1 Focals are the cheapest of the focals made so don't expect them to bring much of anything, I'd keep them if I were you since they sound better than what could replace them for twice as much as you'll get from them. $85 would be very lucky. That would be a very good price on them since $169 can snag you a new set so don't get your heart set on my estimate, it's high for resale on low end mids.

The 3 JL's and the 1000/1 amp should be in the $750 range in mint condition. The amp is on ebay brand new for $619 and used from $450 to $500 in excellent shape. Used subs aren't bringing huge bank, but I'll allow a $200-$250 price for them. If the box is nice I'll allow a $50 grace for it. $800 would be the sky IMO on the complete setup and you'd have to want those products specifically to buy it.

I would list it on E-gay, JL and Focal both do well there. Also think you will do better selling the amp as a listing, subs as a listing and the focals as a listing. Run it for 7 days and state that the listing may be removed, as it is also for sale locally.

my bad did not see that about the boxes

the boxes go new for between 65-100 shipped depends on quality of box, 3/4 mdf, terminals, bracing, blah blah...

I would say the fair price for used would be 50% off, whats gonna kill you is the shipping make sure you quote what it will be and try to sell it with the subs,

i got a 12w7 shipped it is in the jl wedge box heavy suckker around 80 lbs, fedex would not accept it at the store the seller had to have his friend accept it in and ship it. right now it is waiting to be picked up at the warehouse.

i think shipping on that was around $60-75. i think 3 subs and that box might add up so check the rates.

Well, the box was custom built so that it would be small enouigh to fit in the back of my 01 mustang, as well as hold 3 10" subs at once. So, would you include the labor charge, or just for the parts? I mean, since my box here isn't exactly sold for retail anywhere else; JL for example...

custom boxes are a pain to sell and never fetch full value, i purchased this box for 300 and if i get 200 for it when i am done i will be glad but i see my self getting 100-150. Fiberglass boxes are expensive but with using molds this company has brought the price down. if i want to get a decent price for my box i will have to list it on the crossfire forums. i see my self loosing around 50%-65% of the value, and then factor in shipping. sell it locally is best listen to the suggestion of craigslist but throw it online to see what offers you get
