JL Audio 1000 or Memphis 1000d

Ive had JL products and have heard the Memphis 1000d on 2 12" Hx2's and Memphis audio *****! JL Is one of the best companies around when it comes to quality. GO JL (you get what you pay for)
foolish foolish foolish.

I would personally go with the Memphis 1000D. It is one h** of an amp. I heard two Eclipse Ti subs both powered by a 1000D and it absolutely slammed!

This guy is a f***** joke. I have heard both and think that you couldn't go wrong with either one. Both has it's pros and cons. Although not cheap the Memphis is a little cheaper than the JL but from what I have noticed it needs alot of juice to have peak performance. Also you will have to wire your subs at 1 ohm to get the full 1000 watts mono.

The JL will put out full power from 1.5 to 4 ohms with just 11 volts, at least that is what they are suppose to do....

All I can say is choose the one that works best for you budget and set-up.

i am not a huge fan of JL, but if JL says their product can do something, i guarentee it can do it, and then some. JL has been very good about their ratings and specs that they give each product.

well i have just got the memphis 1000d and i got a hugh deal from a local shop (probly cause im the atleast 30 min a day and know everyone)($400)thats my reason for going w/ it over the 1000/1 and the compact size of the memphis

buy my perfect condition dei 1100d stripe model that does 1100x1@1ohm wtih all the features u need for only $250 shipped and you're done //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

out of the two, i would go with the JL.

I had the 1000d on 2 15" L7's and they were ridiculous. If money is a big factor, I would go with the Memphis. It's also a tiny ass amp which makes it wicked easy to put it just about anywhere. But the ability to put out 1000watts @ 1.5-4ohms, I would go with the JL if you're willing to throw down the $$ for it.

i already told you, only listen to me. get whichever is cheaper unless you are willing to pay the extra cash for features, memphis' smallness, or JL's 1000 watts anywhere from 1.5- 4 ohms

U cant argue with a JL amp in terms of features - it has it all.

BUT price wise, you would be silly NOT to buy not a memohis 1000d, but go for a memphis 1500d, because if you can afford a 1000/1, you can quite easily get the 1500d instead. memphis are great, great, great amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D
