JL amp question/problem

I have the JL Audio 300/4 and 500/1 amps installed in my ride. When my head unit powers on the 300/4 powers on right away but the 500/1 takes about 5-6 seconds longer. It will come on and play normally but at higher volumes the bass will begin to fall off (Meaning that the bass will actually decrease after a few minutes).

I have swapped out the 500/1 with a Mmats amp as well as a MTX amp and they both pwr on faster and the bass doesnt drop off. Are there any settings or anything that I can adjust or does my amp need repair?

The 500/1 will also fade if your voltage is less then 10V

Its turning on but its just turning on late..

Voltage with the truck running is always around 13.8 or so.. With the truck off it fluctuates around 11.8 - 11.5. Never below 11.5. I only play it loud (for testing) with the truck running.

try running direct current to the remote +.

My old alpine HU had a really low A +12 remote signal. Wouldn't run more then 1 amp, until I just ran a direct switch with 14 awg wire to the amps, that fixed the problem
