Im going To Buy two 12inch JL 3w V1 from My Friend He says They run at 350 Watts but Im Not sure what amp i should buy for it can anyone help?!?

Also Can Anyone Explain To Me What Ohms and Rms is because i dont have a clue

Simply stated.

RMS = Continuous power.

Ohm = Impedance of the speaker, it's used for wiring. If you have two JL 12w3v1's, IIRC they're Dual 4ohm woofers. You can wire them to 4ohm or 1ohm and you need to make sure you get an amplifier to match your final load once the speakers are wired together.

w3 came with a few different VC configs. i have a d2. and i know there is a D4. otherwise, i have no idea

Meh it's somewhat reasonable for the woofers. And he's in England so shipping would eat him alive.

If you're going to go for it, go for it, but before you buy an amplifier you need to find out what VC configuration the speakers are.

And if you're going for output, you want to go ported

the Subs are all brand new, boxed and already in England my friend was the one who had to pay the shipping, ill find out what the vc is on them asap and let you know soon

Does he have an amplifier? They're older JL models but they're *decent* subs. No earth shattering bass or anything. They are decent sounding woofers though.
