This guy wants to sell me 2 JL audio 15 w6's they are the oldschool ones. but he claims they beat hard as hell. also he has them on a crossfire 1000w amp. he's selling me the jl 15 w6's for $140. I have a hifonics 1206d can my amp push these 15's? and can these 15's be wired to my amp @ 1 ohm

my questions: Do these subs really beat like thump? watts the wattage one these? will they slamm with my 1206d?

lol buy em and find out... worse comes to worse sell em
i used to do that buy shit and find out there wack them sell em'. but if two 15w6's in box is a good deal i might hop on it. i just want to hear from my fellow CA members because im sure someone has had experience.

they're rated 400w RMS whoa!!!! are you sure i'll be able to use my 1206d and turn the bass knob on the amp all the way up without them cutting out?

buy the subs you will like them dont need to max them out to get good sound out of them i have 1 15w6 in my old CRX with a power 500a2 amp on it and it slammed it hit so hard itd pop the moonroof up when it hit and the rear hatch box aimed at the rear hatch window(couple inchs from glass it came with box)

sold it to another guy that put it in a trunk of a neon and it hit hard in there also they were/are great subs

The original W6 was not designed to 'slam'. They were much more of a SQ driver. That is a good price for those drivers, but Im not at all confident those drivers are what you should be looking for considering what you seem to want out of the system.

Um if that is what you want to do there are better subs for you application, 100 over rms and bass knob cranked might smoke these woofers. More like probbaly. send them a clean 500 and no knob they should "slam" pretty hard. 2 15" are not exactly lacking in cone area.

Or find a SPL sub rated at 1k and beat it.

I have a 1206 as well, trust me, you wont smoke those subs from overpowering with this amp, thats for sure, but if you get stupid you might clip the amp and **** the subs up.
