What do you guys think would be the best overall setup in the right boxes of course, more than likely i will be using the jl 1000/1 amp with either setup. thanks for your input

Not very comparable speakers, at all. With that power, and apparently that budget, go with a W7.

No I dont know where to get one. I was just looking for opinions between the two. I've heard many people say that the w6 sounds better than the w7 while still getting loud. Heres a better? I have around $1200 for a sub(s) and amp combo. what do you think would get loud hit the lowest lows and still sound amazing??

Havn't heard the xxx or w7 but my friend had an 10W6 and it sounded nice and dropped low, now he has an 13W7 and I moved away from him but he said it sounds way better and louder.

Go for the W7 unless you have the budget to get a better amp to power the XXX, enough money to upgrade your electrical, and enough money to build a big enough box to get the most out of the XXX.

Well scratch that about the xxx. I didnt know they cost that much. I was thinking they cost like 600. And as for using a 1000/1 on a w6 I was planning on grabbing 2 13w6s if there's room. However which do you guys feel would be a better overall performer, 2 13w6v2 off a 1000/1 or a single 13w7 off the 1000/1?? However, i am open to other suggestions on combos in that price range.

If you keep bumping up against your budget limit, try another brand name. JL Audio isn't exactly known as the budget-conscious choice.

or on a budget the Audioque 1200 pushing a 12 or 15" Q.

also look at SSA icon and ARC audio flatlyne you can see them all at SSA audio.

The pair of W6's has the most potential to be the loudest of those 2 choices with the same power due to more surface area. What kind of box would you get/build for each setup?

w6v2 rapes the w7 in SQ by far
