Would 2 of these subs with a 1000 watt zapco amp work out? Would this setup pound? Would it get stupid loud? Sealed box to JL specs.
Should be loud and with awsome SQ, those 13.5w6v2 are alot bigger than the 12w6v2..Would 2 of these subs with a 1000 watt zapco amp work out? Would this setup pound? Would it get stupid loud? Sealed box to JL specs.
x2.....great sounding subsShould be loud and with awsome SQ, those 13.5w6v2 are alot bigger than the 12w6v2..
Exactly. Two 13W6's on 1000W should be in the upper 130's-lower 140's. PLenty loud for a daily driver IMOx2.....great sounding subs
will get decently loud depending on whats loud to you
You would be over powering them. I thought you wanted a SQ oriented system. Which is it? Like others said, if you want to be in mid 130's to low 140's, then 2 of the 13w6s should suffice of that amp, however if you want to really slam, I would look at something else.what is the cone excursion like on the 13w6? Do you really think that this setup could hit in the 140's? What if I put a 1000watt zapco to each 13w6? Would it be ridiculously loud?
1000W to a single 13W6 is too much. They are realy comfprtable at 500W a piece. that's the power range where you get the best of both worlds: Performance and longevity. You would be over powering them. I thought you already had the 12w6's?
