JL 12W7 and getting a flat response

I am wanting to build a ported enclosure for my 12" JL W7. I have been told by a couple of people that JL's specs will yield a nicely tuned flat response enclosure.

I was just getting some more opinions as the more information I have the better.

I think JL's recommendation is 1.75 net tuned to 32 hertz.

And again I want to stress that a flat response with excellent low end extension is my biggest concern. I LOVE when a sub can hit real low cleanly. So what are your thoughts?

if u want a flat response build a sealed box..

if u want a ported box that will have a somewat low end extention like a sealed box ...build a ported box tuned to 25hz
