i just got 2 10" jl 10w3v3's...i no it says 300 rms a piece but i no jl is known for being able to handle a lot of power. what is the fullest i could push them to im running a hifonics bxi 1606. o and will these pound pretty hard or wont it be that amazing? jw lol i just ordered it all.

if you put them in the right box and tune it right(ported) they will sound really nice. i was running one v3 10 on a ppi 600a2(600 rms at 4 ohms) and this was about the limit in a slot ported 1.25 cuft box and it was tuned to 31 hz. the sub had no signs of stress with this power and some common sence.

the ony problem is im putting them in a silverado crew cab so the box has to go under the back seat.

i got a dual sealed box with 2 seperate chambers that are .6 cu.ft. per chamber. the subs need a box volume of about 1.1 cu. ft. per sub. so basically im .5 cu.ft. short per sub.....there is no possible way i can get a bigger volume box.....would it help if i ported it or what can i do with the box i have now?
