400 dollars for a jl 1000/ a good price for an amp? Have you really read into the rl-s? As for the jl, if you know you're gonna get it.. like you can pick it up then its a steal of a deal... as long as they arent stealing your money //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif. Better amp? I dunno, a lot less power but a lot more versatile.

im not big on coats and weights but whatever

depends what your powering with it, it your powering a sub at 4 ohms then its a good deal, but if you can wire it down to one then get the orion and push out twice as much power

i'd go wit the orion, but if u are gonna get the RL-s get the JL

JL amp is a great amp

the Orion 2500 will put out more power (only depending on ohm load)

but the Orion pulls alot of amps

the JL if not mistake maxes out at 140/150
