JL 1000/1 and impedance rise

I searched and couldn't find the answer I was looking for so if someone could share some knowledge on the subject I'd really appreciate it. As many of us know, JL slash series amps do rated power from 1.5-4ohms. Do you think with impedance rise I would be safe running a 12'' d2 Nightshade at 1 ohm off a 1000/1? I don't know much about impedance rise so I'm hoping I can learn a little by making this thread. The enclosure is 1.5@35 incase anyone is wondering. Thanks for the answers!

The point of the amp is that your power is the same no matter the ohm load. It has a variable power supply to allow that to work. They aren't made to go below 1.5 ohms.
