Jim Camp: Part Deux

No doubt some blood, sweat, and tears invested there, Frosty.

Looks good and with the equipment choices I'll assume it'll sound just as good.

Pretty sweet Jim.

Lovin' the PG Tantrums and flatcone.

I'm curious as to how those Sync6's sound -- they remind me of a Vifa MG cone/basket albeit covered in carbon kevlar... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Well, the install is technically done, but I'm having major problems...like no midrange whatsoever. Tweets work fine, but there's nothing from 4kHz to 63Hz //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif Need to measure if I'm getting any voltage coming out of the Xover, if I'm not...I've got issues.

Hope you get that sorted out. With any luck it'll just be a loose connection.

No dice, it's not a loose connection. Think it's something going screwy in the head unit, because when I hook just the mid (no tweet) up to the output of the amp (but before it gets to the Xover), I'm just getting high frequencies. No midrange at all.

Guess it's time to mess around with the head unit, though I thought I set it correctly the first time //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Yup, my wiring was right, 'twas an issue with the head unit that I didn't foresee. When set to 3way mode, what used to be the front preout now is the HF preout. The LF one is the rear pre, which convienently was disconnected.

Since I'm not running active (yet), I need to go to Radioshack to pick up two male-to-female Y-adapters. ****.

Oh well, pics will come later tonight then :/

Duh.

Why not just keep it in Front/Rear/Subwoofer mode for the time being?
