JENSEN VM9022 or VM9512

Hi, I'm looking for a VM9022 or VM9512 but i need to know something before buy. If someone have one of these unit please let me know if it's possible to watch DVD on the rear zone an listen music on SD card or USB device on the front zone IN THE SAME TIME.

Most unit have limitation on multizone function cause the DVD share the processor with the SD card or USB it's why the DVD and the SD card or USB cannot be use in the same time. But as these units are "twin core mediaplex", maybe they havent this limitation.

Why would you buy that jensen piece, when you can get the pioneer 4900? Doesnt have the sd slot, but it sure as hell is a much better built unit than that jensen... I wouldnt bother wasting youre money..

dont waste your time with jensen, its practically a pep-boys brand.... you might as well get a RAMPAGE or PYLE....

I disagree, I've used the cheapest Jensen screen, the VM8012, and it's far from crap. It's well built with a pretty high number of features that are hard to beat for the price.

I will agree that all other Jensen stuff is crap, but the indash units are a different story. I still think that the Jensen monitors have a better picture than ANYONE else...

agreed so many are quick to jump to names and say others are crap but for the price and features jensen is hard to beat and if he wanted to spend 1000+ im sure he wouldnt be asking about this unit in the first place !

The jensen he mentioned is 699 mrsp. Why on earth someone would want to get a jensen unit worth that much, when their are so many others available for the price point like the 4900 pioneer i mentioned...

This vm9022 really does look like a decent unit. I would try it. You can getem for @500 on ebay. The bluetooth would be nice. If you add up all the features this has with a "better" brand your over 1000 bucks! Id like to play with it first though to see how well its made.

Thanks for the clarification, yeah regular jensen cd players are garbage but i have no experience with their screens, any screen is better than no screen!

yes, and its also jensen. In no way as reliable as any pioneer unit.

YOu can get a kia, or a saturn cheaper than a toyota, and it may have more power, but does that make it better? hmm

Unfortunately the shop sells jensen, and I never recomend them, because they always end up coming back... O well, its not my money.
