Cone area is not a huge factor depending on the efficiency/type of subwoofer. and what did I NOT read? You're comparing apples and oranges right now to be honest. and that wasn't my question I'm asking what is YOUR problem with ME what did I do to YOU? I havn't directly attacked any of you outside of you attacking me it's just retarded drama that I don't need I have enough of it in my life this is where I come to relax. and since when did making a trunk loud become hard? from my experience it's the SUV's that lack.
I've seen worse builds in a car hit as high as me on a lot less **** my build is meant for SQ daily bumping, for moving air it has a big port on a small box. If I fucked with my **** enough who knows what numbers I could hit there are too many factors that happened the day I got my numbers to know. I'm running more power, my electrical stays @ 13.5-14v, the box I used was garbage for the most part atleast for competition and it was thrown together and I didnt even side fire my port which according to Hispl who has the same jeep he gained about 2db just from doing that also I played a SLOWED jeezy song on accident and not the original. Also I've never messed witha termlab before to try songs, tones etc. all I know is im louder on music than I am on tones.

It's a callout/troll thread. ca.com members in general have no clue about spl. There are about 5 here I can think of that compete and do well.

Trunk cars are the hardest to get loud. Everyone knows this. SUV's are somewhere in the middle. They are a hatchback but also very large. Tiny hatchbacks and pickup trucks are usually the easiest to get loud. Then vans/suvs. Then trunk cars.

Probably right and I've heard that from everyone... but I've also seen cars pull some impressive numbers with not a lot of prep for it installs that I've been involved in. 2 CVX's tuned to 32hz in a big box not sealed in the trunk firing forward hit a 146dB off a little more power than me. Just seemed to me that was one of my easier installs to get loud go figure. Well your sir I guess have proven me wrong, I can admit that. I just like to know WHY I'm wrong.
Essentially a SUV is just a large car so you can't blame me for assuming so I know hatchbacks and trucks get easy loud I've just never seen a SUV get easily loud. I just hate when people use cars as an excuse for everything. If you can't get your car loud then buy something else or dont use it as an excuse thats like me saying "if i had 2 more 15's I'd be louder" get what im going at here?
and no I'm not trolling I did a 30-50hz tone sweep and hit a full DB lower than on the songs I tried... Steve said that sometimes people are louder on music and so did Derek Mcgregor I tend to believe guys that hit almost 160's.
So how does that work?...

Hey man I saw your truck build it was nice was just about to leave a comment on it. Really I know you're an older guy so why are you playing with the kids my dude? Fun and all but I think it's time for people to just stop the drama and get over themselves. I'm willing to make good if everyone else is. I know this is the internet and a forum and we're all crazy and having fun WHAA! but at the end of the day most of us are adults and most of us have been wrong on several occasions so lets cut the crap.
