Iva-d310

I'm thinking about getting a screen for my Supra... I was going to get the AVX-5000 but I got kinda turned off of Eclipse recently.... Now I'm looking at the Alpine IVA-D310.

Anything negitive about the 310? Its been out for a while and I did not read anything bad about it... ( I read every post that came up under Iva-D310 in a search )

Any other suggestions? I don't like the looks of the kenwood, i'm not much of a fan of the Pioneers...

does the 310 really only have 2v outputs???? I'll be running them with JL 300/4 and 500/1 so Its not really a big deal, just curious...

those of you who have 'em, are you happy with it?

i had a d300 whic h is the same and loved it. ive owned a few flip outs in my time but liked the alpine the best. the only dissapointment was its lack of onboard crossover functionality. it doesnt have a 3way capability.

i wouldnt worry about pre-out voltage, that is what a gain knob is for.

The D310 is being cleared out at BestBuy for $1099 -- the best authorized price I've seen so far.

I don't mind using the crossovers on the amps one bit, they're there for a reason right?

Price isn't an issue, I work for a car stereo shop and have many friends in various shops.

I wouldn't buy a phone cord at BestBuy anyway, that place is ridiculous.

I don't know what they're clearing it out for, I just saw a clearance notification next to it. Sure, BB isn't the greatest to deal with but I'm just giving a heads up for those looking for authorized pricing. Seems to be the best retail $ I've seen. More power to you if you have inside connections elsewhere.

The D310 is a pretty good unit, I am myself getting a W200 (to control my H700 4-way active setup), which is a variation of the D310, albeit with DVD-Audio support.

Does anyone know if there is a bluetooth kit for this screen? It would be excellent to use my phone in conjuction with it!!

Not many people buy flip out lcd's could be on clearance cause they just are not selling.

I played with a d310 and did not like the "improved" touch feedback. I also thought the unit felt and looked cheaper than my d300...

I also think they changed screens cause when I got back into my car and looked at my d300 with the same dvd my screen looked better.. I dunno I could be biased tho heh...

I really liked the fact the d310 had an external screen tho..
