Ive spent the better part of 2 hours trying to burn a ****ing CD and now it says I have no burner....

Never had a problem burnin cd's from itunes. I think the format of the itunes files can't be directly burned if you are trying it from windows...there are converters out there though to change them to mp3 or wav

You can use iTunes to burn MP3's, just have to change the settings. Also, you don't have to use iTunes to sync music with your iPod.

I dont have an iPod. The only reason I installed it and started using it because it was the only place I could find some songs I was looking for. I found some converters but they cost money unless you only need the first 3 minutes converted.

Yeah, iTunes is total fail. I use it with some MP3's, but I haven't downloaded anything from the store yet. You should be able to go into the settings and change the format that iTunes uses, I think? I thought iTunes used AAC which is compatible with most players nowadays......
