When a kid turns 16 and wants to blo his ear drums..so i no basic stuff about subs but i need advice from the pros, but first some info, just got a 01 alero yea its oldsmaobile and definately not what i wanted but my dad wouldnt let me spend some of my money 2 get a Civic or Integra type car. He says i need to wait a month before putting in a system so i can "get used to driving" or somthing but i wanna start planning what system i will get. I will prolly change the deck (im guessing i will have to, stock decks in their currently) and i need to stay cheap becasue my dads gay. so you heard my life story this is what im currently looking at:

Found a 4 chaneel kciker amp, says

Then i was looking for a kicker amps but most of them that would power this sub are out of my price range so i seen a "Phoenix" like this one

None of my friends or anyone i know has a pheonix anything are they a good reliable brand? And would this be a good set-up for my sub or should i go a little lower on the amp rms power to save money. But i also want the power.

Could i bridge it to 600+ watts with 2 ohms/ if i only have one sub have it bridged to one sub with 2ohms still?? or would it be best to do something else since its a dvc sub?RMS Power Output: 170W x 4 @ 2 Ohm Peak Power Output: 340W x 4 @ 2 Ohm
