The lowest res this monitor works at is 1920 x 1200 
And, honestly, I don't care what monitor is "better" or anything like that. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The resolution is amazing. Even HD movies were like "WTF?!"And the 22" was $250 or something at TigerDirect. I mean... I basically paid for a 22" and got a 24". I think that's a good deal. And I know people say "Priciest isn't always best". But, I've had my old SyncMasters for years, and they've been abused, thrown around, beaten. I've even gotten wax accidently poured into one... and it still works perfectly. So, I've been impressed by Samsung for a while. I just didn't realize I bought another SyncMaster
I can definitely use this monitor as a TV. Haha, no doubt. But it'd probably be pixelated as fuhhh //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
And as an added plus: when I saw the display at TD, you know the generic picture slide show, my jaw dropped and I made up my mind: I had to have it. Haha.
