This is a pointless discussion, but I'll play along anyway.

I it's an issue of semantics. "Aught" is just an old word for Zero.

1/0 IS zero gauge.

The number before the slash represents the number of zero's.

2/0 is 00

3/0 is 000

You can say it how you want. There's no "right" way.

"Aught" just sounds goofy to me. I say zero or one-zero gauge, even one-oh if I'm talking fast and loose //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif.

"Aught" is just old school shop talk.
