haha, nice baby wipe boxThose mids look like the DDW6.5's
lol, i guess he wanted to say that there is a pair of sweet babies in there.

I'm glad it arrived safely all the way from Canada to SoCal. not like my pair of idq8s that i had to recone...

speaking of idq8s...

i have the newest and last pair of IDQ8s to leave ID's HQ. The very last of IDQ8 parts were used on these babies. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

i really really need a better camera. but i'm too broke now after buying these sexy mofos.

lol. sq steering wheel. i get smooth flat responses when i turn w/ that steering wheel.

and **** do these 8"s sound sweet. Much much better than the pair of AA Assassin 8"s, but that was expected. I can't want to tune them with the H701.

An RTA is what i will be needing and truly cannot afford, though i should invest in one. I also don't know anyone that has one. Well, Matt Borgardt from ID did help me tune my system one time. Great guy. But almost everything, except my HU, has changed since then. I might have to give him a call.

get a ID hood ornament.
well, i would if no one around here knows what ID is (it would sure look better than the Toyota sign). But since ID is established in SoCal, I don't think that'll be a good idea. I'd like to keep my equipment, so I'll be replacing my stock alarm w/ one from AutoPage and have about 4 sirens, maybe 5. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

no one in so cal has an RTA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
If you have a laptop or access to a laptop..

You can buy a Behringer ECM8000 mic ($47)

a Behringer UB802 to power it ($55)

and an RTA PROGRAM such as True RTA. Get the 1/6 octave version not because of the amount of bands, but because of the PC calibration feature, you will need this if you want an accurate reading. It takes any info that your laptop and mic are creating on their own out of the equation. ($69)

This is very accurate and cheap if you have a laptop. You will need a 1/8 jack to dual RCA connector and a mic cable as well.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif

Thanks for the great info. I was also taking notes in iceteebone's eq thread about all the rta info you guys posted. I downloaded that TrueRTA, but now i need the registration code for the 1/6 oct version. i'll try and find it online, before i spend that $69.. yeah i'm cheap.
