Issues with Pioneer Premier DEH-P8MP faceplate

Morning everyone,

I recently purchased a car with a Pioneer Premier DEH-P8MP cd player. The head unit works but will not eject cds. When I press the eject button the face plate moves down just a bit, gets stuck, and then goes back up. Are there any known fixes for this or am I better off just getting rid of it?

I did a quick search and it shows discontinued from Sonicelectronix.

So did you buy it used?

If you did you can probably call Pioneer and see what they say about getting it repaired either through them or an authorized repair center.

If anyone knows about a particular issue it would be them.
