I'm a cashier at a grocery store, and I say and do the same thing EVERY FREAKIN DAY.

At one time a job I did for 5 years was.

Used to pack raw sheet glass into crates off a production line in a glass factory made of steel with no air conditioning for summer, or heating for the winter.

Rotating shifts, 7 days on, 1 day off, 7 days on, 2 days off, 7 days on, 4 days off...then repeat.

Very boring, tiring work.

Thats funny, I was gonna make a thread just like this the other day when I was at work.

Yeah my jobs repetitive. Doing the essentially the same stuff everyday, with the occasional change of pace and odd jobs throw in. Getting sick of it now that its been over a year, starting to think about other things but its just too convenient being that its right down the street from school.

nope.. Well my scope of work is the same everywhere, but I am somewhere diffrent every day of the week. I do industrial water treatment, and all off my clients have their own "special needs" and my job is relativley exciting at times.

The people I really feel bad for is anyone who works a line. These poor souls do the SAME THING over and over day in day out next to the same people for YEARS! I dont know how they do it, I guess thats why they make a stupid amount of cash to do it.

Yes, I stock about 1000 bags of chips a day(1500 on a busy day), 7 days a week, 5 hours per day

I do get to drive from store to store, but it is the same stores and the same route everyday. I know the exact mileage between each store.

yeah. i take pictures for a major European car aftermarket parts distributor's website..... ~100 pics taken, edited, and uploaded daily... 10 hours a day 5, sometimes 6 or 7 days a week.

sitting in front of a computer all day FTL.. i've never felt as lazy in my 20 years as i have in the 1 year i've worked here.

bags face themselves, but sometimes when i am in a hurry i stock a bag upside down and am too lazy to flip it over

facing and rotating the dip is a pain though
