I have a very old active crossover that was given to me by a friend who no longer needs it. Its a sony XEC 1000 in perfect external and internal condition. Will it be the worth the time and effort to install this? My audio setup is in my sig so i would be adding it to all that. Just wondering if i should use my Saturday on installing it or not. Thanks for replies.

well.. you already have a low pass crossover on the lows. ( the mbquart 1500d) so you wont need the sony crossover for that

does your mids and tweet amp have any kind of highs crossover?
