GOT MILK??
Ok i have a external equilizer with a built in sub crossover and sub level i would like to use this to control my bass but the crossover knob just has a start frequency of 30 and end off at 180 and between is just dots i would like to know the general area im cutting off at can i just put the dmm on the output and go tru a number of tones and where the voltage starts to drop the tone before that wud be the cut off frequency?

^^^Not always. They put those dots there more for decoration, to fill blank space. They can be used as reference, but I dont think they would be equal intervals. Now dont get me wrong, it could be, but it would be better to set it with testing materials. This is how I set my SSF and my LP filters on my amp:

2 DMM's, one that measures freq. and one that measures voltage.

Put the volume somewhere just for refrence, and keep it there. Then run slow sweeps, and check the freq. with the voltage, until you get the desired results.
