Is this even possible?

Is it even possible to create a vented box which will hold four 10" subwoofers that will also fit into my trunk? The box could be no more than 18" high, 36" long, and 24" deep. I can't figure out how I'd mount all four subs on a 36" x 18" face, more or less a face that would be smaller due to a vent...

Any suggestions?

did you make paper cutouts to see if they'ed fit? I think they will. 20" deep, you could put them on the SIDES.

Could always put the port on a different side. While it's repeated a lot that you're "supposed" to have the port on the same plane as the subs, there's nothing that says you can't experiment with different configs...

Probably one or two would fit. Off the top of my head I'm guessing thats about 3cu give of take. If you try to fit four they aren't going to have a lot of airspace.

I doubt it... after you figure in the sub and port displacement, you aren't going to have much room. sure they can probably fit, but i'm not sure if there will be enough airspace. what kind of subs you thinking of running?

They're 10" Alpine Type Rs (1021d).

The subs don't have to be on the same face as the port or each other.
