****** FTW!
I'm trying to figure out what exactly is the airspace and tuning of an enclosure i have laying around, and was wondering is the RE Audio ported box calculator correct.

portedbox.jpg

the measurements that are red:width - 36"

height - 14"

depth - 16"

port width - 3.5"

port length 2 - 12.5"
internal volume : assuming the MDF used is .75" thick.

width: 34.5"

height: 12.5"

depth :14.5"

Gross Internal volume: 3.618cuft

port width - 3.5"

port length 2 - 12.5"

port displacement: 0.419cuft x Two ports: 0.838cuft

Net enclosure volume:2.780cuft " No subwoofer displacement taken into account"

edit:

if the port length and width are correct, and assuming that the port height is the same as the internal enclosure height, then the port tuning with two ports at 12.5" tuning is 69.58Hz which is mad high.

To get a freq of 34Hz your port needs to be 20.75" in length to get 2.98@34Hz. I have found that RE calculator is not accurate, They were close but no cigar.

Edit:

This is without taking into account speaker disp, since the sub and size was not listed.
