ok i want to run a 2 batterys setup(of course on is the trunk, other under the hood). Now my question(s) are when running a 2 batt setup without a batt isolator/relay do i just run one positive leed to the batt in the trunk from the positve leed under the hood, and ground the batt in the trunk somewhere?

and i also here i should make sure my batterys are the same type and age is this correct as well?

Yes that is correct run the + from under the hood to the + on the battery and - to ground as short as you can get it and make sure where u put it is a good ground and it down to bare metal and u should be good. And yes if u don't run an battery isolater the batteries need to be the same along with the same age.

If you really feel ambitious enough, you can run a ground wire from the back battery to the front battery along with the positive.
