Is this an SE or HC?

I recently bought this sub from ebay saying its a 15" HC. It sat for a while in my house cause im waiting for an amp and deck. During this time I installed my bros entire system including a 12" HC with the **** dustcap. I did not get to directly compare them but for some reason his magnet seamed bigger even though I knew my cone is a 15" So basically my question is how to tell an SE from an HC, thanks.

Looks exactly as My SExxx which looks exactly like a SE untill you look at the VC

That is a 15HC. I should know since I have 2 of them. The magnet on the SE is much smaller and the 15HC weights about 45-50lbs while the SE is less then that.

The reason his magnet looks bigger is probably since his was a 12 inch. They all use the same size magnet so it will appear bigger on a 12.

Lol, I havent even had time to play with it. It has only seen 200 watts from a fosgate amp for a couple days until I sold it. Now its all hooked up and Im waiting for the deck. Why would you want to buy a discontinued model anyway?

I'd say that's definitely an HC. The SE doesn't have anywhere near that big of a top plate.

Yup looks the same as my HC's.

On my digital scale my HC 15 weighed 40.2 lbs so if yours is about there, u are good to go.

Definaltly though, a motor on a 12 inch basket looks decevingly larger than on a 15 or 18" basket.

Dude...don't seal it!! 3.5 cubes net ported...do it. If it won't fit, make it fit.
