autotek AT2000.1...been looking around for a new amp and was wondering if anyone could tell me about this one. any info appreciated

also, I have all stock electrical in my truck would gettin an amp like 1500W or greater cause me to have to do any upgrades? thanks

not sure on amp but i would just do big 3... how many amps is your stock alt?? I havea stock alt 110 amps, i run around 1400 watts off it get a drop to about 13 at the lowest...

idk..i never really look my dad bought me a system to start off with and im upgrading now so i dont want to get a amp that will drain everything..how do i check it?

Whether or not you need to upgrade your electrical system depends entirely on what your current setup already is.

The only Autotek amps I know about are the Mean Machine series, which are pretty nice. They do rated, unsure about the others, though. I know the MM1-1500 has the same internals as an MBQuart DSC1500.1D, which is a great amp as well.

my setup was nothing special, it was two 10's with just a lil amp nothing serious just for some bump but now im upgrading and like i said i just didnt wanna go out and buy something and it not be able to play or gettin robbed of power

The AT line has a RMS value that is half of the advertised wattage....that's a 1k amp.

no...at a bare minimum you need to do the big three and add a second batt. An HO alt would be much better though seeing as your going to be putting a tremendous amount of stress on your stock alt.
