Is this alt worth it?

ok so i finally found a company that makes a "high output" alt for my suv (2004 mitsubishi endeavor) and its fairly priced at $360, but its only a 170 amp alt. My stock unit is a 110. My question is would it even be worth the upgrade. My system concsist of 2 yt, big 3, a sundown saz 1500d and 2 re se 15's, soon to be added is a sax100.4. I think i should be fine for now but if i ever decide to upgrade then i'm kinda SOL. What do you think?

FYI the "high output" alt only does 75 at idle SMH

who makes it? thats a bit low on amperage IMO.

if it were me, i wouldn't go for it. do you dim w/ what you have in there?

i dont know i should have it installed here in a week or so i hope not lol and yea it is sad but my next option is a one of from mechman but i aint a baller like that

For that little of an increase, the price tag isn't really worth it, in my opinion.

Yea i would just have yours rebuilt if your gonna spend that much money for so little.

75a at idle for a HO Alt is a joke..

can you check local shops? the one by me can wind anything a bit higher and get you an increase. I bet those are realistic ratings and if you bought a super duper 200 amp 100 at idle it would be about the same.

Man that's not enough of a gain IMO. Gotta love american. do you plan on upgrading at all.

i didnt plan on getting this i just wanted to see how you guys felt bout it yes i wanna eventually up grade and get 2 saz 3500d's and two of them new woofers jacob bout to release so i guess im gonna have to cough up the mechman money which i know is worth it but shit i think he said something like 700 for a one off
