i just got this email recently, and it looks like a scam

and when i clicked on the link to update, the link sent me to a non-ebay site:

Yes, ebay never asks ou to do any of this so always remember if you think its a fraud call ebay and check it out

Scam, ebay or paypal will always warn you of scams like this. If you click the link it goes to a duplicate fake site and steals you login info once you try to login.

It's a scam. I got the same thing several times now. It looks really official, but its more than half a year later and my account is still in place.

it is a scam - i got a similar email and i forwarded it to ebay, they replied and told me that they will always give your full name whenever they email you (ie: Dear Mr. Joe Johnson) and they will forward you to your ebay thing and most likely give you a telephone number to call.
