Now you just put them in your stereo rack, use hdmi and call it a HTPC

Tiger Directs deals are OLD,they are pushing overstock........So unless you like old junk.....Newegg has better combos that are more TODATE

SSD,I have one in my system kick ***,in a few years they will be taking over

the entire HardDrive market but right now they are expensive - 100.00 for 60 GBs

so I run my Windows 7 and a few items on the SSD and the rest of my programs ,games and junk on a Raptor.....

Barebones kits usually lack parts,better check to see what they are missing (drives,vid cards,)

I just built for a friend and AMD quad Core on all Shell Shocker deals,windows 7.5 experience rating for

not a necessity. but once you've had one, you will wonder how you ever did without.. I would defiantly consider one.

System looks great so far.
A quality power supply is important. I've replaced many systems whos cheap power supply have failed and took the motherboard with it (usually dells). Look for brands like SPI, FSP, Antec, Corsair, PC power & cooling, SeaSonic, Silverstone, OCZ, etc... (in no particular order)

Unless your a gamer you don't need much of a video card, you can get away with something in the $30-50 range and have no performance issues with the system.

same here...except i use photoshop, flash, after effects, and illustrator
