i'm thinking 3 channel = 3(x2) channels... i've been out the game for a minute. obviously.he could use all 3 stick but it probably wouldnt run dual channel... sort of defeats the purpose...
and purposely buying a triple channel kit to run on a dual channel board kills all credibility.
Ram is super cheap right now too.. i paid $47 a/r for 8gigs of corsair XMS a couple of weeks ago. That's 2 4 gig stick FYI.. which is what you actually want for a DUAL channel board lol
