My friend wants to get from circuit city 2 12" sony subs w/ 380 rms each and a sony 1200 wat amp w/ box for $300 package deal its on http://www.circuitycity.com I know sony sucks but for this price is it still a stupid idea when his budjet is like $300...

Probably a better choice than the Xplods. I found that setup in less than 5 minutes do some research before spending money on something that you may not be happy with in the future.

well hes not that much into audio just wants a decent system so even if he had the $ he wouldent spend it.. He has an old 2 10" sony box so hes gonna get a pretty good amp for those n if they **** ill tell him to get the assains or sometin else.. thanks
