Is there any way to measure power for subs?

I want to find a device that will let me read the estimated wattage going to each of my subwoofers out of my amp. I want to tune my system perfectly and would really enjoy an EXACT wattage on the system, any help on a product that would do this? LCD would even be a plus on the reader!

You can calculate it with a DMM with the right formula...

I was looking for something to give me quick numbers to change settings as i go, instead of turning the dial, calculating it, then tuning some more.

So doing one simple math calculation any highschool student could master, and then adjusting your amplifier gain until the LCD display on your DMM shows the correct voltage number, somehow does not meet your criteria? That truly is your cheapest, best option available.

Using the DMM method, you dial the gain in until you hit a number you calculated previously. So in essence, you will be doing exactly what you say you want, to 'see the numbers RIGHT as I go', but the LCD display will be showing you a voltage number, not watts.

the formula is the square root of watts x ohms.

To find power you'll need a DMM with a "clamp" for current and a second one for voltage Power = Current X Voltage. If you just try to estimate from voltage alone it won't tell you a thing since your sub will run between 1 and 40 or more ohms depending on the frequency you're playing.
