is there a difference in flat and pan head?

making an enclosure and wanted to use flat machine screws but read somewhere the clamp force of a pan head is better
but i like the look of flat head.
is there a difference of clamp force or whatever
or it dont make any difference to mount sub to enclosure.

It wont make a difference on mounting. Either will hold the sub

Just for sub mounting it won't make a difference at all. Use whatever you like.
